My love for old romantic comedies and home movies puts nostalgic feelings at the forefront of Photography With Natalie. I document all weddings with a high definition camera but also on camcorders and film cameras as memories are best remembered authentically; there is just something about those old cameras that bring those warm feelings out in us. Understanding that I am a part of your wedding day with a documentarian approach allows for genuine photos & videos; your spouses gentle touches, your moms hands, your dads laugh and your brothers tears. Like a fly on the wall but also the heart on your sleeve. I notice the big moments and appreciate the small ones even more. I see your family as my own and I am there, in the end, to deliver your memories.

I’M NAT!
HI HUNNIS,
It was always beyond snapping a photo or recording a few seconds of a video; for me it was putting the memories together in an album, stringing together video clips and putting them to music. Whether it was a montage for my best friends birthday, or a vlog recapping my boyfriend (now fiancé) and I moving to California in our early twenties or filling the pages of an album I picked up from goodwill with film photos over the last year. Preserving memories and gifting them to loved ones is my love language. I cannot think of a better way to show love, gratitude and connection than through the gift of memories; framing photos, writing poems, scrapbooking special years. One Christmas my aunt said to me, “you should do this for a living,” after I showed my family a 30-minute video I compiled of our extended family vacation. In the moment, I thought, “ I wish!!” and now, here we are. Being able to not only document your wedding day but to return a full length video or gallery of intentional and documentary photos is something I never realized I could be so blessed to do. It just happened; effortlessly, seamlessly like God always intended this for me.

Oh my gosh. What can I say about Natalie except I have never had a better experience in front of the camera. I did a boudoir session with her, which is TOTALLY out of my comfort zone & she made me feel SO SEXY and confident in my own skin. She really set the tone for the session with helpful preparation guides and tips. During the session, she was just so kind and gentle in such a vulnerable situation and made feel so good. Every single photo in my gallery is ridiculously unreal - she is a true talent.

Natalie is beyond amazing! We could not have picked a better photographer to capture our special day! We were beyond lucky to have chosen her as our wedding photographer. She made everything so easy and captured every fun memory we were looking for. She really gets the vibe of the wedding (family, friends, & us) and knows how to capture it. She works so well with a big group of people & my family can be a lot but we got every photo we wanted. Our grandparents are a huge part of our life and she got the most amazing pictures of them to have for a lifetime. We are in love with our dance floor pictures that are so natural and relaxed. We had 3 big canvases made above our bed of our wedding photos because we loved them so much!
